My dad's the kind who takes every opportunity to take us for a trip away from home whenever there's school holiday. I suppose that's because it's the only time he ever have a time off. I might grumble sometimes - but in the end, I'm grateful for the family time.

So this time around we went to none other than, Penang! ..Okay, Ipoh along the way for breakfast. It was a rather short trip, a one night stay. Because it was a last minute decision to go there, we didn't book any place. We were prepared to stay at YMCA hostel. Alas, when we reached there it was decided to skip it for another hotel.

I was looking forward to sing YMCA!

My dismay was short-lived because the place we ended up was kinda cool. B Suite, check it out - It's considerably cheap, spacious, really big army shower head (think waterfall!). Okay the only drawback is it's not in town, it's further south of the island. But it's a good alternative to the hustle and bustle.

I'm sure every single soul who goes to Penang never fail to eat its popular food, so I'll spare you the details. One of the place we went was somewhere new, Straits Quay. The atmosphere was really soothing, relaxing and you can see friends and families hanging out by the seafront. The highlight for me that day was the colourful wind fans. There were hundreds of it. It's hard to pass an opportunity to go to Penang. Wait for me another day!

The year-end passed so quickly, didn't it? When I blinked and take a deep breath, I find myself attending friends' weddings, relatives growing up and older, people changing; hair styles, clothing, voice. Technology has also found a way to root itself into our lives.

So what's on your mind?

The weekend before ushering into the new year has been a blast. Literally I might add. Haven't been to a beach that was so windy-in-your-face in a long time. I can't remember when was the last time, in fact.

Well don't hesitate, it's not too late.

I love asking questions on Sunday. More often than not, the answers will unfold itself. Early this week, I was just wondering about life and death, and hating the idea of losing loved ones. Later that morning, I got my answer in the form of Ecclesiastes 3. Somehow, it's better hearing than reading it yourself.

Indeed, everything has its time. Laughing to myself, I was rest assured.

I suppose I haven't been talking much these days, have I? :) When I'm not talking, I've been taking it out on the pictures. Notice that thing at the right side of the page? A little bit below.. Below the chatter box, below the music bar. Yes - it's new, the picture stream.

But excuse the photo quality, I usually take it on the go. Camera is in hiatus mode. At the rate I'm going, my photo stream will probably speak more than me. I... like the feeling of walking down the street or doing my own thingo and a moment stop my steps halfway just because I saw a 'frame' and I just have to take that picture.

So I finally managed to sort a few pictures to add into this. It seems like it was just yesterday where we're rushing between train doors, frozen stiff while huddling to get to our destination. And of course, some snow ball fight that breaks apart before hitting the target.

We hit Tianjin first as part of the transit to Russia. It was very tiring mainly because of the instruments. Imagine 20kg baggage on one hand, another 10kg on the other hand. We had to walk from the bus station to the bullet train for Beijing. It was almost unbearable. But thank God a kind man actually guided us and helped with our luggage :D It was really sweet of him, when we were about to part he introduced us to his wife/girl friend that he was meeting there.

I feel obliged to insert this pic because of the bomb it cost for our ride. You're not a tourist if you haven't came across this experience.

The scenic tour before reaching to our hotel. A ride that was supposed to be 10 mins was dragged to 30 or more minutes. Paid more than 5 times we should.

It was probably about 0 degree that night. We had this heated pillow that we'd stuff our face in. One in action;

We searched and found a food street. Some food were just SO yummy that I don't know whether it's my stomach doing the talking or not.

The INFAMOUS maize that we always talked about. Looks so delicious, and like it melts in your mouth. Only it doesn't.

First prominent thing we experienced in Moscow is the metro station. I am impressed with their architectural designs. Just search on Google image for "metro station moscow" and you'll know what I'm talking about.

The temperature there was averagely about -10. It was extremely cold for me, and what's worse was I'm the type who can't stand cold weather. Nonetheless, I tried to take as much photos as I could.

Unfortunately by the time we were actually free to shop and look around, our time ran out. Although at the end I didn't captured thousands of pics, I am happy with what I have.

I was gonna talk about food.. But I'll leave that for another place. Then again, I don't a story to tell. Not a proper one anyway.

I kept pausing my writing because I needed a happy song to jump start this post. Besides that I was distracted to pass a level of a certain game... I failed to do so and returned an hour later.

You know what I love doing? Unplanned photo-shooting session. Just take a walk in the city - let the wind, light, and mood lead you to do whatever your heart desire.

My cat sneaked in and bit me.
Here I am awake at 5am.

Later in the morning I've got an appointment with the hair stylist. Am interested to see they can cook up next.

I could hear the thunders rumbling in the background, and my cat is back again.

edit: Now that I look back at my foot, I was shocked to see scratches and a mini puncture. *Argh all over again*

The farewell of Copeland

The lineup of concerts we have this year are quite interesting. One of the opportunity that we had was back in May with Copeland. It was our first, and their last. Their performance was top-notched, sound was full, and I had a wonderful experience to watch them enjoy playing and immersed in the music. It was an amazing evening with them, one that I will remember. I felt a tinge of sadness at the end when they parted with, "We were Copeland".

The never ending chase

When I was younger, everything was $10 and about. I used to think that when I get older, I’ll be able to buy the things that I want with ease. But now that I’m here, everything is $100! Not $100 per se, but you get my meaning. Lol. Why does it seem like my hands are always grasping out to something I can’t reach? I know, I know. You’d say that, “That’s human nature, always wanting something after another.” Well that’s not the case. You can’t say that you can spend the same amount back then to achieve the satisfaction today.

Sigh. Bottom line, I rather save.. save.. saveee… and then spend a BOMB to shock and last me in the happy cloud for a long time rather than temporary fulfillment of indulgence.

Wait it out

I feel like those shop owners who puts up signs like "Under Renovations" and at the end never reopen because they ran away from debts. :) Oh well, I'm still here, alive and well. Been tired, somehow I find myself sleeping after eating. That's bad.. I have a pair of futsal shoes that I have yet to use. Don't I sound unhealthy? I feel it.

The other day I was just walking on the streets of kl for about 15 minutes. Looking back, I realized I enjoyed the walk - Amongst many different people, the busy street, street vendors, perfect sunny weather, walking over the zebra crossings, silver and gold tin men, breezy wind to flip your hair.

I met a 14-year-old hair dresser who dropped out of school. She had her epiphany last year. She has guts to be different and to go against the flow. That's something to be admired for and kudos to her. Hm, didn't figure that I'd be a talker but I enjoyed our talk in between the hair wash.

Calm down and take your time. Don't let it pass you by. You've spotted your target, aim for it. Capture it before your moment is gone. When you've caught it, you smile because you feel proud of yourself.

...Yes. They might be talking about fishing. But me, I'm talking about taking photos.

One would say that I was too free. That's why I had the time to do a some experimental photography. People might wonder why I sat under the sun so long by myself. Wonder away, because questions like that would not come to mind when you're lost in the moment doing your own thing.

So we woke up at 7 some' to catch the sunrise or rather what was left. Too bad on both days, because the sky was a cloudy one. Once you're awake and the food's served, you can't very well go back to bed. Armed with a camera and a full stomach, I went on my journey to discover the place.

I came not knowing exactly where we were staying. I arrived to find out that we were in fact staying in the NS camp itself. So it was a surprise to find so much of greenery around.

I thought that I have absolutely no passion for nature photography, but I guess the real question is actually how you use nature in your photography. This is my version of experimental /abstract photography with nature.

One would wonder, "Why is there a ladder in the middle of nowhere?" I have no idea, but I was more intrigued with capturing it into frame. So mysterious ain't it?

Speaking of mysterious.. I had the opportunity to follow one of the fisherman. I call him, mysterious man. Why? Truthfully it's because I didn't get a clear shot. Haha.

And that's my "fishing" trip.

Noticed how I've been using a lot of lalang in my pictures lately? Well now you know I have a thing for it. Lol. I've had 2 people who happily walked into the tall grasses for me.

I was hoping for a jetty, but I stumbled upon a dock instead. Suits me just fine because I take what I can get. I really enjoyed myself up there. I got the fresh air I was looking for, and there were so many funny stories that happened there.. esp with my mum, or like how it sounded like the ending of a marathon race when one of us caught the fish. omg. I cracked a joke at a cashier yesterday. No, I don't know him nor have i ever talked to him before. One can't help it you know, when his name is.... Frenly.

These days when colleagues of mine says "Let's jam", it no longer meant jamming on the acoustic guitar and the drum set. It meant, Guitar Hero World Tour! Lol, yes.. plastic guitar, plastic drum set, and plastic mic.

Why do they make the environment so fun?! It's harder to leave office now. I find myself leaving the office at 930 to 10+ instead these days.

Ah, the joy of long weekend. Gonna do some air sniffing.. If my nose works.

I think my company have been feeding me a little too well. But I'm not complaining. Who does here? What's worse is I can't confirm my suspicion because I don't see any weighing scale around. Maybe I'll sneak a 20¢ coin at that scale in the mall..

So far, things have been falling into place. Though I missed what I used to have, I'm grateful for what I've been blessed with. :)

Just the other day a colleague of mine (who used to be an intern there) told me that of all the intern that she has seen, I am the quickest one who got comfortable there. Eg; Talking to my creative director like he's my friend. It's not that hard, given the fact that we have a few common interests.

As she mentioned that, I realized she's right. My high school friends, whom I met up recently also noted the same thing. I didn't used to be this kind of person. The person who opens up more. The person I was, would jokingly~~butnot~~ say to another that I don't like breathing things. Okayokay, I was young when I said that. But yes, I'm glad I didn't stay that way.

But boyohboy, I'm still as naïve as ever. Fell for the trap that my classmate (that I've met after 7 years) is married with a kid. I even said the boy resembles her when he's actually her boyfriend's nephew. ==

last week. I got tricked into watching harry potter. thought I was in for a good action movie like pelham 123 or public enemies.. but no.... little did I know that decision was made to go for mr potter.

watching through all the dark lord's scene.... it felt like I was going through a bad dream. slow breathing. heart beating heavy. maybe it was the music or the way the scene played that influenced this reaction. but boy.. did I not like it.

somebody better plan for the proposal or GI joe soon.

one thing I've noticed... why does my holiday lands at the wrong timing, all the time?? like always. seriously. well, turns out next week my company is going for a trip to thailand. before you get your hopes too high, it's for only those who worked there for more than a year. no, I'm not jealous at the fact I'm not going because it's not a beach holiday. haha.

with the golden time I have in my hands.. it's turning really itchy. let's see if I grow some fruit out of it.

You'd think after four jobs, I've had enough of experience with interviews... Truthfully, I've never been in one. So YES, coming this week... Going to head in into my very first interrogation. Okayy, I don't think it should be that bad - It's just for internship.

I know it's been a while... And I have a reasonable reason for this reason.

You seeee...... I have been in deep water for FIVE months, slowly submerging . Even thinking about it weighed me down. Those who were around me would know how I was at it, status quo.

Most of the time it always seemed impossible. Good thing I've always pulled through at the end. Thank God. Yes, I'm talking about my video. Music video to be exact. And yes, surprised myself for even completing it.

All this challenge is fun, but it's not when you're going through it.. It only is when you begin see the outcome, how much you went through - And when you're nearing the finishing line.. The burst of glorious happy feelings all coming together, gets you all excited.

Amidst all the work I am no longer surprise that we can put aside time to capture a few snapshots. After all, they did dress up for the occasion. Yes, you've got that right.. After finishing the important part, I put the video camera down - To pick up the digital one. You know I can't resist ;)

Alas, the weight is all gone now. For those who have not gotten the chance to watch it yet, I'm sure it will come your way soon.

When the city wakes up

So I didn't just enjoyed myself at the beach. Believe me, there's a lot of fun in the city as well. *GRINS*

There's this one day where I'm supposed to find a city for my video materials. Woke up later than expected, but turns out just the right time. It was a shame that I didn't take more pictures because I was too preoccupied with the video. But I'm pretty happy with the little that I have.

Who'd get mixed up between tau foo fa and yong tau foo? Poor ladies who have to walk to extra mile.
Who knew pavilion disallow people to capture picture/video... of the opposite building.

Thanks, michelle and su ann who tagged along. It was fun - misdirecting people, getting chased away for having camera/video on their premises, sitting through 3 city-jams, and the awkward jumps when a bangla decided to watch us but stood within our frame.

Of Sun, Beach, and Straw hats

My 3-day stay at Awana Kijal, was aWESOMe. Those who knows me well would know that I really enjoy keropok lekor. Yes, you've guessed it right.. I ate keropok lekor like there's no tomorrow.

The life here was pretty mundane because we went there during the off-peak season. What I love about it is how we could run around the beach as if we own it, lie under the sky to stargaze and catch the shooting stars. And the clouds.. The clouds are SO DIFFERENT from ones that you see in the city. I'll just say that you HAVE to be here to believe it.

Tonight, let's talk about a brand of people called the nighter-eater!

After talking about this for about 2 years or so, it finally happened. I've learnt that you can really find food any time of the day in malaysia.

The five of us travelled across town and around in search for the various burst of flavours on our taste buds. Doesn't seem like a lot of food but it sure did take up our time, including some random pit stops here and there.

I have a habit; Sleeping face down. Because of the pressure to my teeth, as a result, I always end up with dreams of all my teeth falling out - drastically, dramatically, sometimes with disregard. At times so scary that it felt so real. You know, the kind when you were 6-7 years old and your milk teeth is dropping but not quite yet because it's still loose in your gum. Lol, that's enough of describing. There's nothing I can do at the moment since it's my favourite sleeping position.

Let's go back to the happier times..
Had my fourth and last yee sang for the year. Enough to last me till the next year.

Flashback that brought me 10 years back to high school. It's like getting scolded. Timidly but firmly, I shook her hand.

"Hello teacher."

Oh how I miss them. After all these years of teaching us, I walked out and never looked back.

By the end of the day, I did not regret making that choice to catch up with her.
Even thanked her for those years.
Like drama right?

But I believe teachers play a big part as you're growing up.
My only hope is to make them proud of who I've become.

He sings. He plays the keyboard. He writes. And his piercing eyes can melt one to the bones. Truth is, I was trying to describe julian but I started picturing and ended up describing jonas, lol. Back to where I began, I recently discovered that mr.julian MCGRUTHER has his own songs as well. Being similar to jonas, the both of them are so metro and although their cutting edge look might seem the same, the difference could be told when they sing; Voice range and style.

Yep, so anyway. One day, a few months back, I was trying to explain to the people at the table of what I do in studies. My efforts however, were to no avail - Nobody understood what I was speaking. Probably sounded something like, "a1#a&%g^%n$3".

For this reason, EJ and co., the images below that you see are;

A day in the city

The many grueling sessions of queuing for just about everything we did; just name it - food, shower, seats.. - It left us being trained in the mind and body as well. SO thankful that it was only for a week. Thinking back, I'm glad I went with the people I went with.. :)

It was a powerful week. The things I saw and experience, the people I met and heard. And apart from that, Jonas MYRIN~~

It was indeed, one very cool week.

With the turn of events, I was shelled out at home; Even missing quite a number of occasions that I ought to be at and feeling guilty to be the one pulling the plug. The things that were to be done and yet still lagging behind. Being out there and feeling incompetent, I came up feeling short. I felt the drawbacks and I could see it coming..

Of course, I can always do better.

Went back to dad's hometown for a relaxing weekend. NOT voluntarily at first. But after giving thoughts about the weather, environment, and FOOD, there's no doubt in my choice to give it a go.

If you're a typical tourist of visiting the town and all, then you wouldn't end up in this kind of area. The lanes here are so narrow that one small mistake might cost you trouble.

A gas station we always pass by in malacca. Secret ambition: To have a photoshoot there.

By nightfall, we decided to take a little stroll by the river. Little did we know that we end up in jonker street, a place where we initially wanted to go.

Picture this - Taking shots for about an hour of housing area with beautiful scenery and cool air. And, this is a job. An easy one. Hm hmm...

Where I stayed. This is just one part of the room.

And the spectacular view that I could see from my room of 5th storey.

Depending on how one defines life, I find it relaxing; A place where I would be happy just cycling around the small town. Aside from the lack of modern entertainment or any at all, there's more to Kampar than meets the eye.

I've been unplugged. Haha, sounds so cliché. But yeah, got a chance to brainstorm with perfect strangers :) . If you ask me if I've learned anything, yes I did. Insights, I've seen. An idea no longer just an idea but with underlying substance.

They showed us a few ads and its strategy. The ads are pretty good. Taught me about M5 .. haha.. and for someone who isn't an avid gamer, I fell for the trailers and I now feel like picking up Halo.

It was a workshop that I've attended under an advertising academy. Funny how it didn't even crossed my mind that they will split the group (my college peers) up into different teams. Man, know how sucky that feeling was? Lol. Well, that was just for a few seconds when I stride across the room to my team's table.

Knowing in my mind that I will be stuck with them for the next 8 hours, I decided to make the best out of it. So - Hie, I'm Adeline. *Smiles*.

Haha, quite potong if I end it here right? But I'm not going to tell how our assignment brief was about brand building a ballguard. Nor how we, the silent group at the beginning gelled up in the end. Or how we derailed from talking about brand ideas to the likes of tv series!

Been thinking of keropok lekor a lot. The fatfat ones. Juicy to the core!

I realized how free I am these days.
Knowing ME, hopefully I won't stray away from studies and just play.
Have to buckle up because from the change of my new timetable, both of my classes will be combining with my seniors. Apparently they're very good. Hm, now that's something to be afraid of. Just the other day we were learning a 3D software. Wow, my brain is dropping because the difficulty of learning it. Alright alright, it's not THAT hard, it just takes time getting the hang of it.

MuaAHHAHaha.. Not so sorry for the outburst. It's just that because of this freeness, I've discovered a few newfound places. Or maybe just places that I've never gave much thought before. Hm Hm. I love bumming. A lot.

I think I should allocate a once-a-week time for arcade, in case of "stress".

Couldn't see anything? That was how the night was after the dinner ended and the "party" began. I was pretty mesmerized by the lights, felt as though it was 3D-like. Filling the rays through my vision, I held my hand up in the air to see it light up against my palm..

Haha, I pretty happy that I made that last minute decision to go even though I had much to lose. My early ride home, the plans after, got caught in rain, got sick in the process - flu and my cough back. But then again, I gained much as well. Friendships, a bag that I helped win in an ice breaking session, a mini soft toy that I won through a lucky draw, and a satiated tummy.

Oh, I ate a piece of garlic for the ice breaking game.
My breath stunk after that.
It didn't matter anyway.
We still talked.
And laughed.

wohohoo. Michelle graduated from one of her subject/course last Sunday. Decided to go down to sheraton subang at the last minute to watch her. JaneC decided to tagged along and we snuck her in with no ticket.

Upon reaching, we thought we missed her turn when she said "Gotta go, I'm up". We in turn, RAN like the wind to try to catch what was left..

Thank goodness she only meant it was her turn to queue up.

We stood behind, waiting for her turn. Wasn't long before it was her turn to go up.

These two, like from klang, started clapping and cheering for her. Mind you, the kind of crowd was; name called, clap, silence.. So I was not surprised when heads started turning.

So that was the highlight of my sunday.

So we had an opportunity to play at MADstation, located at Old Klang Road. The people there were very kind, and funny at the same time. Eugene was funny, head banging with his kid brother.

A tragedy strike around the time we were having our sound check; The camera ran out of battery. No. There weren't any proof of supporters who came to watch us, nor the fun we had while playing during the ice breaking session, or how goth my group was, nor how they splash the band's name all over their wall.

All that was left was only how we were during practice.

Of late, I've been so soso so very busy with assignments. It's caught up to me, snatching away my nights, all of em!! Apart from all those hecticness, it's a good thing I still managed to find time to go places.

I've been meaning to put these up, but didn't because I couldn't find a reason to with this little pics. I've only chosen to do up a few photos because, too many photos were taken that night. So, can you tell the story in just 9 pictures?

..Which sums it all to one heck of a cool party.

Some time last week, we headed to tambun for some dim sum. Of course that wasn't the sole purpose, but man, it was some good meal! The idea of traveling tires me out every time - But after eating the food that place has to offer, all the previous thoughts just flies out of the window.

As usual, being the one that is always left behind, it's no surprise that I always get shots like this.

After we had our fills, we headed to tambun's lost world. Okay chup, for those who do not know where is tambun, it's in ipoh - west of malaysia. Not bad, besides getting lost aka tour around ipoh town, we could eat and still reach in time for our sound check. There were some shots around the park that I liked;

At the airport, I remember wondering, "What in the world are we doing heading for Despasar, where is BALI? (Okay noob part is I didn't know it's actually Denpasar)

In the airplane while filling up our traveling form, I remember wondering, "Why is our destination Kula Beach, where is BALI? (Okay another noob part is I didn't know it's actually Kuta Beach)

Stop laughing, 'cause at the end of the trip, I turned out expert already okay... Knowing the ins and outs of Legian Street, to Poppies Lane (due to shopping)..

When we first landed, it was still surreal, the whole idea of going for a holiday with a bunch of crazynoisy friends. I tell you, the amount of time where people have to shut us up... I've lost count.

It was a whole lotta fun because I got to explore surfing, water rafting, bargaining price like anything, talk to locals (Okay some part was scary where I was left alone..), massage, fake tattoos, riding bike for the first time (Thank you, ejane, for teaching me. Haha). It was all first experience, and one to remember with.

Deep deep down inside, you didn't believe that I'd go on without pictures right? Haha. Well. I'll do something different - Putting up old pictures and ones taken not too long ago instead.

It was amazing, going to bali with these people;

Penang was foodful. That's all I can say. Not much photos taken.. Well. A LOT of photos taken, but mostly of the same shots.. And FOOD, where do I start? It's everywhere, from left to right! These 5 girls went there for a small road trip.. Filled our stomachs everywhere we went.

I suppose there's a reason why I talk much about food but yet there's no picture of any of it in here. It's simply because... It looks disgusting! Hahaha. Alright alright, I'll still include it here.

There! Kinda lazy to arrange it properly.

Had tons of fun walking around and having random shots.

Poptarts! Yummy.

If this was the amount of photos taken just on having food in the mouth, can you imagine how much food we ate? Or rather, how much photos were taken? Makes you wonder right, what was the photographer doing (so free to be capturing all these)..

Countless times were spent fooling in the car..

Never felt this guilty for skipping classes.. Something what I call guilty pleasure.

I think it's really odd when I have to dream that someone tells me to blog... And it's not the first time this happened.

..Okay fine.

So I went to this kl trip about a month back, with a number of the juniors together with a few lecturers. The places were... Well, mundane but I've had my fun nonetheless.

The city view was breathtaking as we were so many levels higher than we were 10 minutes before. The haze kinda spoil the whole thing, BUT it didn't stopped us from enjoying the time we had.. E.g; Laughing at those with the fear of heights, playing with the mp4 gadgets they borrowed us up there, peering into the lens so that we could zoom into a swimming pool... NOT me though!

The place we went next was CentralMarket. There was nothing much there, just a lot of handicrafts. The main highlight that time was lunch, actually. The lecturers was cool enough to treat us a meal at kfc! Ate until I was so full.. Really left me satiated.

Managed to capture photos of people-taking-people, front view.

The last stop was at the national museum. The last time I was there was 11 years back. I don't know if it's me or is it not, but the place seem to have shrunk.. a lot. So it didn't take long for us to round up the whole place.

I found out that it was my former lecturer, raden (on the right) last day at college that very day. She was leaving to pursue her masters. I'm not very good at goodbyes.. So I just wished her the best.

Oh well, life must go on. We can only do our best, and leave our footprints behind.

For the last three days of going to college,

I took cab from where the bus dropped me off.

Before jumping into conclusion, let me explain meself..

1st.
Packaging presentation. A lot of stuff to carry.

2nd.
Marketing presentation. Late for it. Cab would reach me on time as I was on heels. Tell me how to run uphill with heels?

3rd.
Exam. Late for it. How can I afford to reach late on examination day?

Em... It's not that I want to, but I foresee next week on my assessment day, another cab story! Lol.

Driving with a spoilt speedometer is liberating.

..That's besides the point.

Last week, this college of mine held a small fun art fair. I had to be there simply because I was involved in it. I thought it was going to be another tedious work because;
1. I've never handled a stall before (have to sell food know?),
2. I've got another booth to handle, which is for my marketing subject.

I've to handle one booth because I'm the representative for my department and we're required to pay.. Long story short, I have to earn back to cover my cost.

I didn't managed to get any picture while selling my nuggets and fish ball (mum cooked, of course) because I was anxious to close my table! Ehm.. It was funny la, after I sold my last stick, got so excited that I let out a whoop of joy and strike out the menu and wrote 'Close shop!'

After the food stall, I headed over to the marketing booth. My team was supposed to create and raise awareness on protecting our environment. These are our marketing products - poster and bookmarks;

My classmates aka group mates,

The marketing lecturer sent some spies to rate our performance and I caught one in action,

The marketing class is combined with few other classes, so I have quite a number of marketing classmates;

This girl is quite funny, a very sporting person. I asked her to approach strangers with puppy eyes and ask for donation (her team was collecting donations) and she actually did it. Lol.

My former classmate (we split course) that dropped by. Don't know why he went to college when he have no class...

Haha, in the end, I enjoyed myself; joking around and bonding with college mates.

Last time when I enrolled in college, I thought I'd be the oldest one because I joined late. I found out that I have classmates that is a year older and another is 3 years older. BUT just the other day, I found out that one of my marketing classmate is 31 years old. Wow.

It's never too late to study.

Back to that disco ball; It was located at a church's youth centre (newlife), where sam with his band played a number of songs in conjunction of their launch.

Wasn't planning on taking any pictures, but at the end also have to do it because no one else was willing to! It felt kinda weird cause I was moving left.right.front.back...with a lot of people around, especially to the front with my funny camera angle.

Tips: I blocked out the feeling of getting embarrassed by thinking that I won't see them again. Recommended tactic!

Let me share a short story that has no plot.
Once upon a time (more like 3 weeks back), there was this group of people.. They crashed a girls' cellgroup. Good thing nobody kicked them out. It was good fun, hot cocoa, cupcakes. And cozy too! Pictures, pictures, you must see!

The reason why we gathered was because.. Actually wanted to catch colbie. But it rained when we were leaving for the show and we stalled long enough.. To just catch her for the autograph signing session. Bubbly we are not. One of the reason of why we were late was because we were goofing around at ikea - we likey the lightings there.

And then everyone started getting hungry, ended up buying hot dogs at ikano. You see, so many obstacles.

When we arrived, people were queueing up for signature already. Not that interested, so took pictures of ourselves haha. To our surprise, bumped into petrina sarah laura. No pictures to prove though..

Well, determined not to have our night ruined, we decided to catch a movie instead. We had about 1.5 hours to spare because of the next available time. That gave us time to play twister in the middle of the mall (no idea why was it there) and pose in front just cause we saw jane's famous tag line.

I was at a wedding dinner of a relative of a relative.. Confused? Okay, it's more like my dad's brother's wife's brother. Not going into much details.. But I really liked the atmosphere. Or at least the atmosphere after I took a few photos, haha.

EARLY this month I had the chance to be back in malacca for an inter school rally. I MUST say it was such an experience, esp for janec who had her 5 mins of rock star moment.

We started out a little early to avoid the traffic, and reached there with an hour at hand. And I being the bored one, started snapping pictures that makes no sense. But I like it okay..

Managed to walk around a bit to look for food and hang out at the room before the event..

There was this sigh of relieve after it was all done. The crowd was really wild..! Like screaming-wild. I guess they reached their peak right during our performance. Or rather buscompany was there to bergila-gila with them. Saw a lot of familiar faces there, which was good.

We were given the options - Satay celup or duck mee. Us being the greedy ones;

"Why can't we have both?"

Thankfully they were kind enough to comply to our wishes.
